Race the Sun as it rises and falls in this Coast to Coast to Coast epic

At the break of dawn, as the first light touches the shores of England’s North East coast, the Equinox Sun Race begins - an epic cross-country pursuit, racing against the very arc of the sun. Riders will embark on an exhilarating journey, chasing daylight as they traverse from coast to coast, with the goal of reaching the West coast before the sun sinks below the horizon.

Upon reaching the West coast, the trial takes a decisive turn: push through the night and ride back to the East coast before the next sunrise, or rest and recover to finish the journey before the final sunset of the equinox, the choice is yours.

The Equinox Sun Race isn’t just a challenge of distance or time - it’s a journey that mirrors one of nature’s most profound cycles. On this day of perfect balance, where daylight and darkness share equal ground, riders have a rare opportunity to experience the changing light in real time, racing alongside the setting sun and rising once again with the dawn.

Will you conquer the landscape and master the light, or will the sun leave you chasing its final rays?
